Since 2014
A practice built on interfaces
ach! began in Istanbul in 2014 as a multidisciplinary initiative spanning architecture, design and event curation. Its early foundations brought together spatial thinking, creative exploration and the experience of bringing people together through design.
In 2021, ach! established its independent architectural practice in London, building on over a decade of professional experience. The practice evolved towards increasingly complex projects, combining concept-driven design with technical precision, digital workflows and an enduring curiosity about how people experience space.

Seda Arslan
Founding Director
London
Seda Arslan is an internationally experienced architectural designer and founder of ach!, with over 12 years of professional experience across aviation, defence, life sciences, commercial architecture, hospitality and urban development. Her portfolio spans complex infrastructure, research facilities and high-performance environments, combining architectural ambition, technical precision and spatial quality.
Working across RIBA project stages, she translates architectural intent into coordinated, buildable solutions. From concept development to construction delivery, she has led detailed design packages, resolved complex multidisciplinary interfaces and demanding technical requirements while preserving architectural integrity.
Grounded in architectural theory and spatial research, her approach explores how environments influence perception, movement and behaviour. Her interests lie at the intersection of architecture, cognition and technology, particularly interface intelligence, spatial continuity and the experience of space.
Informed by multispecies thinking and more-than-human perspectives, her research extends towards speculative architectural futures, exploring relationships between humans, other forms of life, ecological systems and emerging technologies. Through ach!, she connects the rigour of architectural delivery with broader investigations into how spaces are conceived, experienced and understood.

Principles
Sheet S-002
01
Context before concept
Every project begins with a precise reading of its context: people, space, existing systems and the cultural, environmental and informal relationships that shape them.
02
Interfaces are architecture
Where disciplines, materials and systems meet is where design intent becomes buildable reality. Interfaces are integral to the architecture, not merely its details.
03
Experience shapes space
Architecture is experienced through perception, movement and interaction. Human cognition informs how spaces are conceived, inhabited and understood.
04
Thinking through delivery
Conceptual thinking and technical precision remain connected, from early spatial investigations to coordinated design and construction delivery.
